Excellent value for the price! The staff is friendly and the rooms are very nice and clean, good location with most rooms right at the beach and some on the other side of the building. Breakfast is best on the island, altough takes some time some mornings

Perfectly!!! Lovely place. Room with direct access to the beach. The 24-hour rustle of the ocean and indescribable views of the changing colors of the ocean.

Clean, quiet rooms, some with sea views. The only problem is the fluctuating current.
It is located near the beach with many places around to eat including the Pesce Birichino managed by the same owners.
From morning to night with your feet on the sand !!
Possibility of using sun loungers on the beach.

Absolutely not recommended, very humid structure, the room they gave me was small, smelly and was located on the back. After four days I found another structure nearby, new and very beautiful and I moved. I lost some money, but I saved my vacation. The owners gave me a small refund

We stayed 3 days at sunrise londge last week from 21st december to 24th …. staying there was a unique experience for Alice’s hospitality … it was unique because in the same period we met her family and from it was difficult to get away … they treated us like daughters … wonderful people..Alice and a reliable and always present person, giving excellent advice..breakfast and cleanliness 10 mark … the b & b is located in kiwengwa halfway road from everything … quiet place and relaxation assured .. the presence of the Masai constant but not invasive … very pleasant and nice … the fun in the evening is not lacking …. I recommend it to everyone if you want to live an experience beautiful … a kiss to all the staff of sunrise lodge … see you soon

A beautiful place directly on the sea, the two girls Alice and Betta very kind. Excellent food and well-kept and spotless rooms

A B&B directly on the beach! Open the door and … wonderful view. Clean, very nice rooms with daily cleaning.
Breakfast is included, with fresh products and fruit always present.
Silvia and Afis, the owners, are very kind, nice, ready to help to meet the various needs and give advice. They also organize excursions.
Next door is also their restaurant, Il Pesce Birichino, very good and tasty cuisine, with Zanzibari and Italian dishes and fresh fish every day.
For a “real” holiday, more in contact with local life, the Sunrise Lodge is certainly the ideal place, suitable for both couples and families. A place to try!

A small lodge directly on Kiwengwa beach. The management, being the lodge small, is familiar … you always feel at home even if you are away from home! Nice to have breakfast, among other things abundant, on the sea in the morning, the restaurant serves excellent dishes also of African tradition. A place to definitely come back!

Excellent Accommodation, exceptional room by the sea, sleeping with the sound of the waves is a magic, always very clean owned by Silvia who is Italian and therefore knows how to manage her local staff who is competent and prepared.
At the restaurant you eat very well, breakfast with sea view with your feet in the sand is worth the holiday.
I will be back.

Magical location where you can live a dream vacation. The opposite of the usual crowded and anonymous villages that alike grow like mushrooms in an island that should maintain its most genuine charm.
Cozy rooms directly on the beach offer indescribable emotions.
Courteous and very nice staff make you feel at home.
If you want to live 100% Zanzibar this is the right place.
