Spectacular views of the Peninsula where no two sunsets are ever the same, the Slipway is definitely a destination to visit.

The restaurants are beautiful and the food is delicious. Environment is amaizing

Interesting, but a lil’ upgrading needed to match up with the ever growing status.

Glad to see the interface fully utilized but we cannot drive through the location let us get direction to the transit

Slipway hotel is a whole other tourist attraction! I was not a guest at the hotel but left my hotel two days in a row to shop, get ice cream and have dinner. Slipway is a such a marriage of so many fun activities and the souvenir shops are a hit. You can spend hours here and not know it. There’s a playground for children and different restaurants. It’s safe and has a waterside view as well. Loved it.

The hotel is Okay but not suitable for business trip. The breakfast is very minimalist, the choice is very limited. Sea view rooms can be very noisy at night when the restaurants became crowded. A band is playing music at night, usually from Wednesday to Sunday.

Best Hotel in Dar es Salaam without a doubt. Rather than the chain hotels where you can’t even tell which continent you’re in, this place has SOUL. Zanzibari architecture and warm staff, this is the only hotel I stay at in Dar

Great location and cool scrounging. However, it has aged and therefore, needs a a quick face-lift.

Slipway is a lovely place if you’d like to do a little bit of souk shopping, relaxing or having lunch/dinner! Beautiful views and vibrant, pleasant staff and you can also get the boat to Bongoyo Island which is a lovely little place if you wish to just relax, swim or read a book. There are little coffee shops and restaurants dotted around the place.

The hotel was extremely good value and the staff very friendly and helpful. Food in Waterfront restaurant was excellent.

Free entrance. You can enjoy a stunning sea breeze, good restaurants.

One of the best spots to catch a sunset with lots of shops, restaurants, ice cream parlour,spa and a souvenir market right next to it . New paparazzi bar is cool spot to check out as well

Lovely hotel by the beach with a nice pool. Didn’t even have to live there to enjoy a relaxing day, as long as you paid for lunch!

The staff at Slipway were super sweet and amazing! They also upgraded me to a Sea View room at no charge. Overall awesome place with amazing value. Also really accessible to fantastic places.

What an amazing place! Gorgeous property, clean, lovely room with a fantastic ambiance of historical yet updated. The layout is positively interesting and the staff was outstanding. Alice, Helimah and Maimonah at the reception were extremely patient and tended to everything that was needed for an forgettable table. The bell man Sebastian was more of a fixer rather than just a luggage carrier. I highly recommend this hotel during a Dar stay as it was difficult to leave for the work obligation that required me to go to Tanzania. The only reason it’s receiving a 4 star was due to the broken A/C that in all honesty was fixed 2 days into my stay. They assured me I would be moved but after the unit was fixed, decided to stay in the room. Just a positive experience and triply the staff made it a hit!

Slipway is one of the most amazing places in Dar Es Salaam, the beach, the boats and the view are just mind refreshing not to forget the food here is quite amazing. It’s definitely a place to visit when you step foot in this city!
