We spent a week in Baobab Hotel, went there to get married and it was FANTASTIC. The hotel crew are amazing, there are exceptional and great and polite and helpful and unbelievable. They did everything they could to make our stay remarkable and enjoyable. The hotel is fantastic, I can only recommend it to everyone. You can relax there, you can be active, have fun, you can do anything you want, the hotel will make sure, you are looked after. Amazing crew, thank you guys.

Nice breakfast and lunch/dinner on the tarrace, beautiful sandy beach, not crowded beach, nice pool with a view. Nice staff.

Disliked · Unfortunately there was a bad tradition to “reserve” the sunbeds for all day. Mostly they were empty all day but people from certain nationalities were keeping them reserved for all day by leaving towel or flipflops/hat. In the end nobody was there but all were “reserved”. The hotel management were not doing anything about it.

The Location and the beach. The elevated beach exclusive to the resort is worth the stay. And the public beach in front of the resort is very nice and you can go swimming even with low tide!

Disliked · The Superior Room on the ground floor have no privacy…. people that walk in the garden can see directly onto all the ground floor rooms. Only some of the older room which have grown up plant in front of their patio have some privacy.

Not cheap, but splendid hotel, excellent beach, good animation and very friendly staff. We had 11PM outbound flight and were kindly allowed by the manager to keep the larger of our rooms and enjoy all-inclusive all day – free of charge. This is a fine example of cordial attitude to customers. Three cheers !!!

Disliked · I hate it when the toilet door in a hotel room has no lock. In our room (we stayed in Superior) the toilet had NO DOOR – just a curtain. The room is fairly compact, so all the sounds of your body activity are readily available for audition by your room mate and guests. Someone may say it is stylish, someone may say I’m paranoid – I leave it for you to judge. Fortunately it was the only glitch about this otherwise wonderful hotel.

We did not like the breakfast because the menu was not changed for the five days we stayed. We found the same thing everyday

The hotel is big, next to the beach with a beatiful garden, well maintained. The restaurant is on the beach, the serve delicious food and variety is great. The staff is really helpful. Pool is nice, the beach is perfect. Little bit pricey but would go again.

Disliked · Room was small could not open properly 2 suitcase, they did not clean the room daily, but when we mentioned this they gave us a bottle of wine and a fruit plate, that was nice. All inclusive mean you can drink beer soft drinks and wine during the day and cocktails only from 18:00-24:00.

After nine days we could stay the whole extra day on the room and keep all inclusive for free. Dining area next to sea is perfect

The private beach is pretty nice, the garden is amazing, different shows every night.
The condition air from our room wasn’t working, but they fixed it and in addition they brought to our room a platter of fruits, a bottle of wine and some cookies in order to compensate for the day when condition air was not working, even i wouldn’t consider it neccesary as long as they solved the problem. But a very nice gesture which proves the professionalism in treating their guests.

The hotel is a well- mantained 4 star hotel looks like a village, we liked it very much.
The beach is excellent. The rooms are very clean – thanks for the housekeeping- they do a very good job.
Maybe we missed the fridge, but not so much. We have lived together with two small gekkos so we were minimum four in the room🙂 but there was nothing else at all.
The food was very tasty.
The best was the hotel’ s location.!!

Disliked · Take medicine with for any case.! For a european stomack could have problems. But it was not the hotel’ s fault!

The whole resort was very nice and comfortable. Wide selection of good food (buffet) – every dinner had some topic, like Italian or Asian kitchen. The hotels privat beach was clean, easy entrance to the sea (no rocks). All houses were located in the garden with baobab trees. The garden was daily maintained.

Disliked · The road to the hotel from the main road was more than horrible and extremly dusty. I think, that this not cheep hotels (Sandies baobab and other luxury hotels) could build some good driveway. On this 400 m road everybody looses their imagine about Zanzibar.
