· Well run friendly hotel at a low price
Whole building feels old and slightly low rent. But it’s cheap & central.
Forget the internet it’s almost non existent

The area is pretty safe and the people are nice and welcoming….l could go out at 10pm and come back at 2am and no worries.

The place is basic. Dar es salaam is a overwelming city, so big and active and different, that is not posible for me to have an appropiate impretion. People where correct and friendly. Safari Inn fulfill my need of clean and rest to keep traveling. Uber services are a great tool to go around the city!

Disliked · Can’t tell. It is just a super busy city, hard to digest and the feeling goes just along with Safari Inn; it’s rough but efficient!

We were really happy about people working here. They were helpful and heartwarming.

Disliked · Not the best street to get there and the bed is right under the A/C but for one or two nights is this a good choice.

Very nice staff and hospitality. Great location in city center. Located in a backyard without trafic noise. Easy walk to the ferry and gigantic fruit and veg market. Great place if you want to stay for 1-2 nights with an economic price level. Reasonable clean room. Good wifi in the lobby.

Disliked · I think I got charged slightly more than the bill on booking.com. (City tax was included according to booking.com).
No hot water in the shower. Not wifi in the room.
Some noise from aircondition systems or something in the buildning.

· Breakfast very basic but ok for price. Pay a little extra for a few extra items. Laundry was cheap and fine very well.

We came in Dar es Salaam from airport, looking for safari tour. The host organized for us the best safari experience in Mikumi. We got the driver, that drove us for 7 hours to the safari through the rough traffic, very safe driver. The accomodation in safari was great, we slept in a tent, with great meals and swimming pool. We had Massai experienc in real tribe. And the next day full safari experience, saw many wild animals. When we came back at night they brought as food in the room. The next day the same driver had driven us to the ferry, helped us with buying tickets and gave us some tips. The room in Safari In was clean, air conditioned and with mosquito net. Recomment to every backpacker and low budget traveller.

Cheap and clean, just as I expected. This is just a place to sleep and it was good for me and my family. Close to ferry to Zanzibar.
Nice with breakfast.
As the entry was not along the road but from a inner square no one passed by without notice why I got the impression it was safe to stay there.
