Malaika Beach Resort

Liked · The location right on Lake Victoria was simply stunning. The hotel gardens were delightful. The breakfast menu was excellent and the room is what you’d expect from a five star hotel. The staff were professional and friendly throughout. If your looking for a great hotel this is it.

It’s a very comfortable resort and the food is excellent. It is very relaxing.

Great garden with many birds, including sunbirds, owls and kites, small waterfall, fish in the pond, great and deep pool, sunbathing area. Great food and nice staff. Rooms are nice but somewhat old design. Houses are beautiful. I think the best hotel in town. But this is “African” five stars, must understand.:)))

Disliked · 1. On weekends in the evening, music from the disco. It’s until 3 am. 2. Some equipment needs to be updated / repaired – There is a leak in the bathroom in room 804, some of the equipment in the gim are damaged. In the room upon arrival I found a puddle of water at the door from a very heavy rain at night. :))

It was my first time to Mwanza so everything was awesome. My wife was thrilled

Everything about Malaika Resort is beautiful; the staff, the location, the food, the ambience. It is just amazingly beautiful.

Disliked · The wifi, considering I was travelling for work and needed to be constantly connected, it became utterly frustrating when my roaming would not also work.

Disliked · In the weekends they organise outside parties with loud bases which are bearable in the rooms
