Kisiwa on the Beach

The staff is amazing. The room was clean . Great food, excellent service. The property exceeded my expectations.

Lovely hotel in Paje, so good we needed up finishing our holiday there as well.
Great location on the beach, close to lots of kite surfing schools and Yoga at Nest if you like an active break. The staff are really lovely and a massage at the spa is recommended after a full week of adventure.
Nice big open communal space to curl upon with a book or drink if its raining.
Several hotels and bars close by to explore but its pretty quite, although we visited just at the end of the season.
Food is simple but very fresh, fruits at breakfast were a treat.

Disliked · Only thing we would have liked is more wine options, limited menu and very dry/acidic which is a pity as lots of fish and seafood on the menu.

Hotel in a very good location, right on the beach, beautiful sea view, large and clean swimming pool, beach chairs, exercise room. Large beachfront apartments with air conditioning and refrigerator.

Disliked · Food wasn’t the best and no options without dinner.
This is probably the only drawback of this hotel.

Beautiful location, friendly staff and clean rooms. The pool was great and the hotel was in great proximity to the local attractions in Paje. Spa was incredible and the gym amenities looked great. Check in was quick and pleasant.

Disliked · The food at the hotel left a lot to be desired unfortunately.
For Breakfast ,the fruit was lovely but we would have preferred fresh baked items from the kitchen- i.e bread or pastries. Pancakes should be made to order by the chef- the ones on the buffet (if any left) were rubbery and crispy on the edges.
Generally the buffet was below average. For dinner, fish was rubbery and overcooked and some of the better food available on the buffet was not replenished when it was finished. Generally food ordered from the menu (i.e for lunch) was of a better standard.
Cocktails were inconsistent- changing in taste and texture from one day to the next. Cocktail of the day turned out to be cocktail of a few days- it only changed once during our week long stay.
Staff were not attentive to guests around the pool/ beach area- offering food or drinks- until we pointed this out to management.
Towels in the room were looking worn and need replacing. Pillows were not great- very soft- rather bring your own.

Perfect holidays. The hotel is extra clean. The services are excellent as in 5 star hotel (not only every day cleaning but f.in. also adjusting your room for sleep). All the staff is well trained and polite. The manager helped us with everything and organized super birthday dinner for one of our friend on the beach. We danced all the night. Super small spa with massages. Plus very good food. For sure we will return.

Very friendly service staff (thank you Lucy, Janeth, Tumaini, Salome), wide variety of food choice, clean rooms, toliets and the pool surroundings, well serviced restaurant, little repairs in the room made quickly

Disliked · A 4% credit card surcharge (no word on this in booking.com), clean yet ultra-worn towels at the pool, a curtain in the shower cabin would prevent from constantly wet floor in the bathroom

The resort was very nice, the pool is by the beach and is very relaxing. The beach beds are situated in front of the hotel so are kind of away from the beach (not far) which gives you privacy. The room is very spacious and the sea view one was amazing with a great view

Disliked · – Resort didn’t organize events like live music or beach events
– the food is good but not exceptional and lacks variety
– air conditionner was not strong enough for the room, we were feeling too warm all the time

The location is great with white sand beaches, ocean amazing… the property very comfortable and cozy, very clean, we enjoyed the delicious food and those homemade cookies every day that were placed in our beautiful villa! Property raked every day!

This hotel is really amazing.Personel more than friendly.Everyone is kind and helpful.They smilling all the time.You feel lika at home.Rooms are very clean,huge with comfortable bed.Swimming pool is clean and the restaurant offers nice food.We really enjoyed staying in kisiwa.There is no possobilty of complaining because everything was really great.
