Beach is beautiful.

Disliked · Selection of food and passivity of staff.
Lack of entertainment for the guests and lack of organized sports and entertaining events.

Spent 3 days in Kendwa rocks in a very nice villa in front of the beach. Kendwa rocks has the best beach for swimming. Very friendly staffs and a nice breakfast buffet. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful beach hotel with many choices of water sports, skydive as well.

Disliked · The way to the hotel from the main road is rough in bad condition; the bed is too high.

Overall the hotel was very enjoyable, the room was fantastic. It was spacious enough for 3 friends, having enough space for all of our things. We had a jacuzzi and it was very relaxing to be able to lay outside the room. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room nice and cool. The beach at Kendwa Rock is stunning and a must see place when in Zanzibar.

Disliked · It was hard to find sunbeds during the day as people would reserve them early in the morning.

Location and great beach on the resort , spa is nice

Disliked · Short of staff despite its fully booked , breakfast was not up to standard , no room service and you have to pick up your things from the beach Resturant ie I asked for ice and they want to charge me $7 and to pick it up from beach bar
Room was not clean when we arrived and after complain they came to clean

Location of this property is on the best beach of zanzibar

Liked · The stuff are perfect!!!

The beach was amazing. Beautiful water sand and clear blue waters.

Disliked · The service was incredibly slow and they would make an error on every order, even orders as simple as ‘Can I please have a coke’, and the waiter would return with Fanta.

The place is amazing, the staff is friendly and always available. Very nice place.

Disliked · In this period, in the middle of pandemic, we were expecting more precautions, such as masks, sanitizer everywhere and so on.

I would like to thank Panta from the reception and Layla and Hakim from the resturant .
These people deserve a prize the treat us as they are the owners of the Hotel.

Disliked · I stayed in room Africa 10 , The AC is very small for the big room and very far from the bed .

It is a large hotel and well positioned.
The hotel has its own private beach section with their own beach lounge chairs under shade. Which is a big advantage in the heat.
The restaurant is on the beach and you can order cocktails while lying on the lounge chairs.
Breakfast was buffet and delicious.
Kendwa beach is a nice swimming beach without rocks

Disliked · Only a few beach lounge chairs, which makes it difficult to get one open.
The menu showed happy hour, but the waiters and waitresses told me there are non, which is dissipointing becuase it is expensive.
Be mindfull when attending events. The events are extremely expensive and food was not great.
