Ilala Lodge Hotel

Ilala Lodge is a beautiful lodge very close to the falls, the staff are very nice and the rooms are amazing. I was in the Deluxe room for 2 nights as a solo traveller, this was my first visit to Victoria Falls and my best lodge so far. I will definitely book a 3 or 4 nights next time as the 2 nights was very short.

The lodge is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were friendly and efficient. We had outstanding service. The food is top quality in both taste and presentation. We had an awesome stay.

The place is amazing!

Lovely hotel with great views. The management were kind enough to change the room due to the fact that I have knee issues. We had dinner at the restaurant, was delicious and well presented. Breakfast had a huge variety of everything under the sun.

What a wonderful and tranquil place… I felt like a queen! Would love to stay much much longer. From the moment we arrived everything was just perfect! The staff are wonderfull and so friendly! Food superb! Love this place.

I stayed 3 nights at this beautiful stunning hotel. What an experience. I had a room on the garden level and outside was baboons and little piggies enjoying the lush greenery. The corridors are well kept. All you see is people cleaning …

Beautiful lodge hotel the closest to the Victoria falls – Only 15 minutes away on foot. If you are flying a drone, your drone can reach the falls easily in minutes! The lodge ambience is very retro African and the rooms are very comfortable and spacious facing the hotel backyard which is part of the national park where you can occasionally find wild animals. The breakfast is great and lot of choices with a la carte items. The experience definitely worths the price!

Stunning. Relaxed. Close to the (Victoria) Falls (900 steps). Free Wi-Fi. Easy booking of activities. Beautiful views. Delicious meals. No gym.

Great place located close to the waterfall, very friendly staff that delivers great service. Would definitely recommend staying here if possible.

Its ok, very little interaction with us as the customer from the hotel staff. Seemed like a wasted opportunity to build customer satisfaction. So all those niggling issues that could have been solved quickly were not mentioned and sorted

Ilala is beautiful, with friendly staff. Closest lodge to the falls, expect to hear hippos feeding outside during the night, baboons checking out your food and warthogs ‘mowing lawns’ during the day!
