Hotel Raha Tower

I arrived at the hotel at 5 am after a gruesome trip from home that climaxed with the airline losing my luggage. The driver the hotel had arranged for me was still waiting for me even though I was an hour late with the lost and found process. What a relief!
The welcoming at the hotel at such late hour was great.
The room was very clean, good aircon, excellent bedding and good breakfast. Excellent value for the price.
Yet, what I really want to say is that the staff is absolutely awesome! They were so helpful with my luggage situation, they helped me get my phone card, go shopping, order food for you, find you the best taxi drivers… I am a woman traveling by myself and I felt safe and taken care of very nicely by everyone there. Thanks Raha Tower Hotel people !!

Breakfast was good, well prepared and made in good time. Friendly staff at the restaurant as well.

Location is excellent. Room was safe adn clean. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Disliked · AC was very noicy, bussilla without that there were insects. There were no restaurant in the evening although that was promised at the websites.

Central location, was able to get where I wanted to go fairly quickly including the airport. Oh and the staff were pleasant and helpful

Disliked · Lack of isolation. However we arrived so tired that didn’t really matter.

Cleanness, nearness to the city, especially venues if you are attending meetings in Hotels like Serena, New Africa, Southern Sun etc.

Disliked · Car parking is a big challenge, pick up and drop off became so difficult. Dinner is a challenge as food is ordered from external provider

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got my room leaked in day 2, they changed my room with the bigger one, electric kettle and hair dryer are available just inform to the staff. And free laundry service was a great one. Breakfast also tasty. Really worth the price

I liked the location of the hotel. The room was spacious.

Disliked · The room had a defective sink which was not repaired even after I reported it. The staff, not soo jovial to welcome visitors. Old towels.

Disliked · Management is too relaxed on smoking in the hotel especially near the elevator
The headboard in Rm 406. Please clean it with recommended detergents

Breakfast was good. Chef was great. However the tablecloth had oily stains. Maybe provide napkins instead of serviette/tissue.
Small space and it was difficult lifting warmer lids and dishing food.
Get real safebox in room.
Doorlocks were tricky. Maybe repair the keycard mechanism.
Have access control to rooms as anyone getting off the lift could walk to the rooms.
The hotel is ONLY on the 5th floor.
Indicate on website where uber should meet and drop. The location is on a busy intersection and the ubers cancel quickly. Uber point is behind hotel in small parking area.
Staff was great and helpful.
