Disliked · The way to reach the hotel is not a street

We had the absolute privilege to stay in the honeymoon villa at this amazing resort for 6 nights. We have travelled to many places all over the world, but what we found here was a true gem. To start of with, the people – you will meet the most amazing staff with the kindest souls that will go out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable and happy at all times. Gasper took care of us during our stay and he was just amazing – so friendly, helpful and professional – we cannot thank him enough. I also celebrated my birthday and the staff made it the most memorable event. The resort is amazing – it is huge and you will be spoilt for choice – there are so many different pools, jacuzzis, sun loungers, daybeds – you will never be out of options. We were on the fully inclusive package which was real value for money. The spa is amazing – so beautiful and the massages were incredible. The ocean is also extremely special with beautiful rock formations outlining the crystal blue and green ocean water. We took kayaks and snorkelled almost every day. Although we were spoiled with the honeymoon villa all the other rooms seemed lovely and big. You are surrounded by a sense of calmness and relaxation the entire time. We cannot wait to return to the resort and will bring our two teenagers. This is simply the best island stay we have ever experienced. Thank you Fruit and Spice!

Disliked · Nothing – most amazing stay!

VIP Villa was good as an overall, beach view with a peaceful atmosphere (Especially during sunset), quiet and comfortable beds.

Disliked · 1) The resort was located far away from the nearest town which is Kizimkazi (If we are talking about walking to there).
2) The tour guy that is located in the resort which he’s part of the team charging almost twice price than outside (For example; one way to airport cost 70$ in the resort and I got it from outside driver for 40$, another case airport and stone town almost close to each other for stone town will charge you 50$ and airport 70$), they are taking the advantage of being the resort far from nearest town and they know that you don’t have options and at the end you will take it.
3) Villas require maintenance (Especially glasses doors that takes you directly to private swimming pool) which there’s a space which allows ants and flies to come through that space.
4) Jet skies are coming near to the beach or swimming areas which is unsafe for people who’re swimming there.
5) Gym equipment needs to be maintained.

It’s the perfect place for your vacation if you are looking for relax.
The rooms were very clear and comfortable – the Housekeeping staff never interrupted us, they were like super cool ninjas (LOL) who knew exacty when we were out of our room. When we were coming back, we were always seeing new towels, shampoos, body lotions, bottles of water, etc. Our beds were covered with new sheets and there were always flowers on top of them.
The restaurant staff was amazing! We made friends there! They were all so polite and caring, always asking if we need something, always suggesting a good meal for us.
We had a dancing show and also a Masai show during our stay which were great! I promise you that you won’t be bored any day spent there!
The beach just outside of the Resort is so good! They have a very nice bar with a pool and jacuzzi where you can relax while the low tide takes place and you can’t enjoy the ocean.
One of the most adorable things about the Resort is that they have a Turtles’ Nursery. You can see baby turtles and teenage turtles there. The guy that takes care of them is so nice, he will tell you the story of how these turtles came to the hotel. 🙂

Disliked · We went there on a Honeymoon with my husband and our total stay was for 5 days. The first two days we spent in a completely different room than what we paid for because they accommodated another couple in our Jungle Garden Villa. This was very disappointing at first, the reception guy even lied that there is a maintenance in the Junge Garden Villa and when they fix everything we’ll be moved there. Yeah, it took them 2 days but we just found out that we need to wait for the other couple’s check-out in order to finally move there.
We were compensated with a great great great dinner where we received the best service by the best waiter. And we ate the best food. 🙂 It was really nice and because of this gesture our overall experience remained very positive.

The garden is well arranged and well preserved. There is a private beach well-cared. The sea water is very clean. The landscape is also beautiful. The personnel is nice and willing to help you.

Disliked · The wi-fi quality is terrible. There are old equipments in the room, the room itself looks a little bit decrepit. The store is not having an offer varied enough and is not opened when supposed to. (For instance no skin protection lotions or water sports equipment.) I was particularly disappointed by the 10% extra charged for everything ordered during my stay at checkout without prior information about. That is inelegant and unprofessional.

Jungle villas, both of beaches, landscape, bars and spa awesome! You don’t wanna leave the place! We are so happy to choose this hotel!

The food was amazing. The resort is well maintained and the rooms were large and comfortable.

Disliked · The phone in my room wasn’t functional although I was given a mobile device.
I’d like this to be worked on.

I did like everything! They are very careful in details to make your stay just perfect. Jaspar, the staff that took care of us during our stay is an outstanding guy, gentle, kind and oriented for results.

Disliked · The internet sometimes didn’t work but no issues when you are in a paradise like Fruits and Spice

We had a wonderful vacation. Hotel staff always went above and beyond with everything, kind hard working people. Resort was perfect for us, liked the pool and beach area as well. Bars/facilities were perfect, including the food.

Everything was just spectacular! From our butler Thodeo who was always around even though we’d try get most things done ourselves, he was always there anyway, ready to help. The food was amazing, the staff were all very friendly. The entertainment nights were memorable and of course the NYE party was everything and more. It was fantastic that there were a lot of different areas to go sunbathe and cool off in water. The resort was spacious so it automatically kept the social distancing regulations to par not that they even do that there but it was still nice for my partner. The views were great and being able to walk from our room to the ocean was lovely.

Was lovely place, comfortable room, nice dinner for new year eve, very happy staff. I like that they have monkeys on the garden and turtles nursery. Nice place for snorkeling but you have to go in the morning and a bit far on the ocean. Still I will go back with pleasure in spite of few inconveniences.

Disliked · Slow WiFi, gym all machine broken so if you like to work out is impossible. Staff didn’t change towels for 3 days, we have to ask 3 times for this. Food is expensive and not good quality as supposed to be for 5 star resort and need improvement. I wish management to try to change a bit the facilities, this it will be motivation for other clients.
