City Lodge Dar Es Salaam

· The room was quite comfortable; great bed, hot shower with good water pressure.
The staff was so helpful and friend, especially Zacariah!
Lots and lots of tv options, with virtually any soccer/football game available.
Breakfast was also very tasty and served in a stylish dining area.
We stayed here for two nights before we began a week-long safari in Arusha, and it was just the right way to get us acclimated to Tanzania before that began.

This hotel has passed my expectation as of all Dar es Salams Hotel’s

I recommend this hotel for people that are looking for high class service , facilities, cleanliness and best location in Dar es Salam.

Clean, comfortable, compact room with a tiny balcony. Nice service, and full health protocols being followed by the staff.

Disliked · Bathroom does not have a proper door – it’s a transparent heavy glass door which means if you are sharing your room, the other person can see and hear you sitting on the toilet / taking a shower. The toilet does not have a douche! The swimming pool is very tiny and didn’t look clean.

Exceptionally kind Manager and staff. My phone had been stolen from the taxi as I drove to the hotel and the genuine kindness and help given was remarkable.
The hotel beds are the most comfortable and room is large, clean and comfortable.
Food and breakfast delicious. A lovely Hotel!

It was stylish and very clean. You can smell the new! Everybody was very professional, friendly and helpful. Location is perfect. We are definately coming back!

Disliked · Only one socket in the room making it a challenge if you have more than one gadget to work with.

Disliked · They can make you leave the hotel in the middle of the night because you haven’t paid the rent yet you’re still around…Which hotel does that for christ sake…?😏
